Community Action Works to Educate, Enrich and Empower.
Community Action Works, a registered 501(c)3 organization (EIN 27-0612848), believes every community has the potential to overcome its challenges when empowered with the know-how to do so. Through education, enrichment and empowerment outreach programs, Community Action Works mentors and guides communities, local community-based organizations, children, caregivers, teachers, artisans, craftsmen and small business entrepreneurs to realize their potential. Community Actions Works provides support in areas that:
- Improve the quality of life, including health, economic and education in communities, especially rural areas;
- Meet the needs of the most vulnerable, including orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) and people with disabilities;
- Bring about behavior modification in youth to promote good citizenship and positive futures;
- Offer youth access to activities that enrich and educate, promote development and global awareness;
- Provide resources to address social, health, economic and educational needs as determined by communities;
- Empower communities to be come self-sufficient; and
- Build capacity of local charities and community-based organizations to become stronger partners in development.
